“THE KEY IS NEVER TO GIVE UP”

-says Ricardo F after recovering  over $900 in wages.

“I feel happy and victorious…and I’ve learned a lot! This fight lasted for months, and we worked a lot on it. The key is to never give up!” – said Ricardo F. after recovering his wages for construction work done in Spring of 2013.

Ricardo opened his wage-theft case after his former boss refused to pay him for the last weeks of work. Ricardo followed the process that led up to a flyering of the neighborhood where his boss lived. After no response, Ricardo and team decided to contact the homeowners where Ricardo worked. After going to several houses, they were able to talk to homeowner that led them to the general subcontracting company.

Then it seems the boss had a change of heart and paid all of Ricardo’s wages.
