Join Us to Demand Target Pay Workers and Stop Using Low-Road Agencies!

Join Workers’ Dignity this Sunday, November 11th at 1PM, because Martha and Navor are taking their campaign to the Target!

Martha and Navor are asking that the billion dollar corporation pay them for their work cleaning Target department stores through Diversified Maintenance, a cleaning agency they say owes more than $18,500 in unpaid wages and overtime. They are also demanding that Target break its contract with low-road cleaning agencies.

Corporations are increasingly using agencies to cut costs at the expense of people who help sustain their profits. There’s no mystery that these agencies often have histories of wage theft. In fact, Diversified Maintenance has a long track-record of settling lawsuits over wage theft.

“We aren’t the first Workers’ Dignity members Diversified has failed to pay for cleaning Target. Target should break their contract with Diversified now because they don’t pay workers,” says Martha.

Will you stand with Martha and Navor?

If you’d like to carpool, come by Workers’ Dignity, 335 Whitsett Road, at 12:30PM. The action begins at 1:00PM at Target in Brentwood, 780 Old Hickory Blvd. Check out our Facebook event for more information.
