Politicians won’t save us. Electoral politics have never given us the change we need. It never will. We vision a world where every single person is able to be their full selves, free from oppression, borders, war and bosses. No matter who wins or what happens in the coming days we must oppose the rise of fascism and continue to build massive social and worker movements capable of leading us to full liberation. 

We oppose state actions that curb the rights of our people. We oppose actions that attempt to reverse victories that the people have won through collective action. We oppose armed rightwing extremists that show up in our communities to spread fear and violence toward our siblings and compas in the movement. And we oppose the billionaire class that will go to all lengths to defend their profits from uppity workers.

There’s no election outcome that improves conditions for workers. The laws of this country have never worked for our people, and now that the system is crumbling, we will continue to stand in community and solidarity with each other. The only way we win the world we deserve is by building a multiracial working-class revolution that can push out the white nationalism, violent state racism, and capitalist class that is desperately clutching to hold control and profits as the people rise up.  

And we are rising up. In unprecedented numbers. After cops murdered George Floyd, 20 million people in 2,000 cities and towns across the country marched in the streets. Actions spread to 60 countries. And are part of a broader sea of humanity proclaiming that another world is possible.

We build our power worker assembly by worker assembly. Neighborhood assembly by neighborhood assembly. We are the ones who will determine what we need and the ones that will fight for it.

We are living through the largest political crisis of our lifetime in the U.S. We are outraged when Trump trucks pummel toward crowds. When the police state openly attacks protesters with chemical weapons and rubber-coated bullets. When rightwing militias — what the rest of the world calls paramilitaries — march in the streets to intimidate and even kill protesters. But this isn’t going to stop based on whoever wins at the top of the election ticket.  

If Biden wins, we have a lot of work to do to push out Trumpism. If Trump wins, we know we will be fighting even harder to protect our wins and our people. And if we still don’t know the results in the days or weeks ahead, then we must continue to protect each other in the streets, in our communities, and in our workplaces like we’ve been doing for 10 years.

We will stop fascism through mass movements, disruption and political strikes. We will build a new world through solidarity, love and liberation. In the coming days and weeks will march in the streets and fight like hell with our people. Join us.
